200 year old Sakura
this is by far the most beautiful sakura tree i ve ever seen and it s within a 15 min walking distance. on the weekend its blossoms reached their peak and it looked just amazing!!
a good thing: since it s park of a very tiny shrine outside of Tokyo, it s not known to many and therefore not at all overrun (unlike Ueno Park)

Sweet Mother of White-Pinkish Cherry Blossom!!!
Went to Ueno Park today to look at the beautiful sakura trees. Felt like one million other people had the same idea incl. at least three TV crews.
It was wonderful though!!

So, meine Abreise steht kurz bevor und meine Shamisenlehrerin war so lieb und hat meinen Vorletzten Tag ein bisschen verschoenert.
Zuerst konnte ich mit ihr und einer Freundin noch ein letztes Mal (fuers erste) Shamisen spielen…es gibt auch Videos^^
Danach gings nach Meguro (ein Stadtteil von Tokyo) in ein Schicki-Micki-Hotel bzw. Buerogebaeude, dass auch Hochzeiten fuer die bessere...

東京国立博物館 と 国立美術館
Am Dienstag hab ich im alleingang einen “Kulturtag” eingelget und bin in den Stadtteil Ueno in Tokyo gefahren.
Gleich neber dem Bahnhof liegt der Uneo Park, indem man das Nationalmuseum und das Museum fuer westliche Kunst findet, indem gerade eine Sonderausstellung aus Berlin stattfindet.
Leider konnte ich weder im Kunstmuseum noch im Nationalmuseum Fotos machen…einige der...
